Dogs at Carnglaze...
Dear Dog Owners,
Dogs on leads are welcome in the gardens at Carnglaze all year round. We ask that they are kept on leads as Carnglaze is set on 6.5 acres of ancient woodland & these are inhabited by an array of lovely creatures including Rabbits, Hares, Wall Voles, Deer & of course Faeries! We would rather they were not chased! Also there are a few hidden tin adits and shear quarry walls which could be accidentally fallen down or into if the dog were chasing a rabbit!
While underground your canine companions can either be tied up in a non-public area, where they have access to drinking water or they can be left in the car ~ we have several shaded areas in the car park(s).
Our water is from our very own underground spring!
In the first Car park there is a special Pooh Bin, which is composted. We appreciate it if your pooh bags are biodegradable but we have special bags in the Ticket Office, which we sell for cost price.
