Route 38 opened it's door for the first time on Wednesday 9th March 2005 on the former site of a previous roadside restaurant located on the Trerulefoot Roundabout on the main A38 trunk road in south east Cornwall.
Being part of the Nightlife Leisure Group - Route 38 aims to be different and as the name suggests the restaurant runs with an American Theme, right down to the red and white chequered table cloths found in so many American Roadside Diners!
The walls of the restaurant are decorated with music memorabilia including pictures of  The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Buddy Holly right up to Robbie Williams, Shania Twain and the modern day bands, many of these personally signed by the artists themselves.
We even have a Gold disk by Elvis!

The restaurant is fully licensed and air conditioned to enhance the dining experience and the waitress service is the friendliest around. Whilst enjoying the superb food prepared and cooked to order by John and his in-house chef  team and listening to the classic American soundtrack from the Jukebox you may glance out of the window and spot the odd American vehicle in our car park including our very own stunning Harley Davidson Truck,  especially if you visit coincides with one of our American car event Days or other car meetings which are regularly held throughout the year.

Be Prepared for a treat and come and taste a small part of America in Cornwall!
