Steffani Benton and Kris Emmett
Saturday 18th October 2014 at 7:30pm
Adults £9.50
Two of the south-west’s première musicians come together on 18th October to bring you a concert like you’ve never heard before. Featuring the ethereal voice of classical and folk soprano Steffani Benton and the distinctively mellow buzz of pianist Kris Emmett this concert will combine a very unique eclectic mix of repertoire, drawing upon some of the greatest music ever written.
With works spanning from Massenet, Strauss and Debussy to Lloyd Webber, Schöenberg, Nyman and Uematsu this is an opportunity not to be missed. Hear some of the best-loved classics of all time intertwined with some spectacular movements you will have yet to discover.
Set in the idyllic Carnglaze Caverns, Cornwall’s unique underground concert venue, the location could hardly be more striking, nor appropriate.
The Rum Store was used as one of the nation’s safe storage areas during World War II and features outstanding acoustics and atmosphere that can only enhance the exquisite music that will be performed on the night. We look forward to seeing you there.
