The Underground Lake – unique, intimate wedding venue in Cornwall
Our beautiful Lakeside venue, overlooking the crystal clear blue green water is licenced for a maximum of 40 people. Accessed down our historic flight of 49 steps, there is plenty of time for you to make your grand and dramatic entrance. When lit with hundreds of tea lights, and with the stunning acoustics resonating to your bespoke playlist, the underground cavern really comes into it’s own.

Our Lakeside or upper cavern is available for weddings & receptions from £2,000 ~ £4,500 (plus VAT) depending upon your requirements.
The fully stocked Rum Store bar & upper cavern can be opened either as a cash bar or on account.
Weddings bookings within school holidays or premium dates will be charged at a premium rate.
Information
All our prices will vary due to the time of year and day of the week.
Please be aware that we are here to help you and will discuss any queries you may have.
The taking of photographs is permitted in the grounds and is inclusive in the price.
We dry hire you the venue and you organise all the caterers, photographers, florists and car hire firms.
Alternatively, we can help you with contact details and advise on what has worked for others.
There are tables and chairs available for you to use – we will help you place them.
As a licenced premises, we do charge corkage on any alcohol you supply.
Please note that the Registrar needs to be booked at the time you book the venue. They will pencil you into their diaries up to 2 years ahead. There is a central number for the Registration Service ~ 0300 1234181, you can ring between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am till 4pm Saturdays to make an appointment. Carnglaze Caverns is in the South East Cornwall District.
